Our Story, Productivity & Roses
Flora and Fire is about balance and harmony.
We wanted a name that felt like both things at once:
the soft beauty of roses, and the strength of where they grow.
“Flora” is for the rose itself—elegant, calming, nurturing.
“Fire” comes from the Cotopaxi volcano in Ecuador, the region where our roses grow. That rich, volcanic soil gives them their vibrant color, strength, and life.
It’s bold, deep, and full of energy.
It’s a name that holds a deeper story.
One about living with intention.
It’s a feeling. A vibe.
Flora & Fire is more than just roses...
We offer a high-end experience—premium Ecuadorian roses, grown in rich volcanic soil and cultivated to a standard you won’t find anywhere else. But beyond that, these roses are a bridge — an invitation to slow down and embrace the in-between moments, where calm, balance, and fulfillment live. They gently pull us away from the rush of everyday life and help us become more present in the small moments that truly nourish us.
More than something beautiful, they’re a way to care — for yourself and for the people you love. A holistic kind of care that touches mind, body, and spirit, nurturing your well-being from the inside out.
Our long-term promise speaks to the heart of our brand— why we exist, what we show up for, and the positive impact we hope to make in the world.
Our biggest motivation is to inspire an intentional living that nurtures your well-being and positively transform your everyday life.
Because at the end of the day, we all want a life that matters.
A life filled with joy and memories that stay with us.
A life that feels meaningful while we’re living it and when we look back on it.
A life we live with intention.
That kind of life is built through conscious choices— by choosing with purpose, one rose at a time.
Our roses are grown and cultivated in our farm located in Cotopaxi, Ecuador, a region surrounded by our planet’s largest active volcanoes. This unique environment is characterized by:
1. Rich-volcanic soil: this nutrient-dense soil, enriched by centuries of volcanic activity, provide optimal nutrients and minerals into the soil, making it highly fertile. They enable the roses to grow healthy, tall with thick-sturdy stems, the largest blooms, and the most vibrant colors.
2. Intense Daylight and Cool Nights: the 12-hours of consistent daily year-round sunlight at the equator boost photosynthesis, enhancing the plant's growth, color, and metabolism. While cool nighttime temperatures help preserve the roses’ freshness and extend their vase life.
3. Pure Paramo Water: this is the best water because it provides clean, mineral-rich irrigation, contributing to the quality, health and vitality of the plants.
4. Ideal Climate Stability: the region enjoys a stable microclimate with minimal extreme weather, ensuring year-round growing conditions and consistent quality.
These essential variables compose exceptional conditions for agriculture, resulting in roses that boast outstanding quality & vitality.
Our varieties follow natural growing cycles, so availability can shift with the season. Most are offered year-round, but certain items may sell out depending on conditions.
We believe a product becomes more meaningful when it carries a story, because stories help us feel the moment.
Each of our rose bunches has a name that tells a story and reflects the feelings behind meaningful life moments. Moments we've all lived, maybe once or many times, and moments we hope to inspire in you. The names are also closely connected to the emotions and sensory experiences inspired by the rose colors themselves.
Our greatest inspiration is you. The stories, emotions, and beauty of everyday life shaped how we named each bunch.
These are simple but essential care and love to keep your roses on fire; to last longer:
1. Fill your vase with cool water and stir in flower food until dissolved.
2. Using a sharp pair of scissors trim the stems at 45-degree angle for proper hydration and nutrient absorption.
3. Remove any excess foliage that fall below the water line of vase, and any guard petals (outermost layer of rose which help to protect in transit) that are browning.
4. Your flowers are now ready to be placed in vase and allow time for your beautiful roses to hydrate for several hours.
5. Keep your roses in a cool area out of direct sunlight, trim stems regularly, and change water as needed for most fresh enjoyment. You can add a little bit of ice to help cool down and to keep them fresh for longer.
Shipping & Return Policy
Our standard shipping time is 3 – 4 business days. All of our products come directly from the farm and are hand-tied with care specifically for your order.
Yes, delays are possible and unfortunately, outside of our control. Once we hand our product over to our shipping partner, we no longer have domain over the transit process.
Customers have up to two business days from the desired delivery date of their shipment to submit a request for a refund or reshipment. This policy applies to orders that are misdelivered or not delivered at all. To remain eligible for a refund or replacement, the request must be submitted within this two-day window.
To complete a request for refund or reshipment, please reach out to our customer service team at hello@flora-fire.com
If the refund period has passed, we will gladly provide a reshipment of a fresh rose bouquet once the necessary information is submitted. Reshipments will be scheduled for the next available delivery date, which falls between Tuesday and Friday due to limitations with our shipping partners.
We kindly ask that you take a few photos of the rose bouquet and send them to our customer service team at hello@flora-fire.com . This allows us to assess the condition of the flowers and determine the appropriate next steps. In many cases, your roses will arrive in good condition thanks to the ample hydration and post-harvest treatments we apply. However, if your flowers arrive more than one day after the desired delivery date due to carrier delays, please contact us promptly so we can address your order in the best possible way.
